The Chairman of Obubra Local Government Area in Cross River, Hon. Kingsley Arikpo has felicitated the the state governor, Prince Bassey Otu and Wife, Eyoanwan for their recent Episcopal consecration and installations as Apostle and Bishop respectively.
In a Goodwill message made available to the press in Obubra, Arikpo described their installation as a divine will to put Cross River on the rails of God fearing leadership.
” I congratulate His Excellency ( Apostle) Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu and his dear wife, Bishop (Mrs) Eyoanwan. Otu, for their elevation and subsequent Commission for the eclessiastic assignment in the Lord’s Vinyard ” Arikpo stated.
The Chairman commended the leadership of Voice of God Christian Mission, Calabar, whose Choice of the state Governor for an additional task ahead, wears a true reflection of Cross River being programmed as a special destination where God lives with his own people.
The Council Chairman who further described the Apostolic conferment on the Governor as another feather to his cap that fits, urged Cross Riverians and other residents of the state, to engage themselves in prayer for divine direction in all government policies and programmes as well as upliftment of the people and the state to greater heights.
