Calabar Municipal Council has inaugurated keys officers to pilot the affairs of council, heralding a new chapter in the Administration’s quest for sustainable development and improved service delivery.
Delivering a keynote address, the Mayor of Calabar,Apostle (Rt Hon) James Anam congratulated the appointees, emphasizing the pivotal role they will play in actualizing the Administration’s vision for a more prosperous and vibrant Municipal Council Area.

He charged the appointees to be proactive, innovative, and inclusive in their approach to governance, stressing the need for effective collaboration and teamwork.
Among those inaugurated were Engr. Eso Archibong- Supervisor for Works; Mr Eta Imona – Supervisor for Education; Mr Etim Effiong Etim- Supervisor for Agriculture; Barr. Patrick Edet- Supervisor for Environment Mrs Comfort Friday- Supervisor for Budget and Planning; Hon Henry Edet Okon- Supervisor for Finance and Internal Affairs; Hon. Eme Ekpenyong Bassey -Supervisor for Health.

The inauguration, attended by a diverse gathering of stakeholders, including dignitaries, community leaders, and well-wishers, was a testament to the Administration’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance.
As the new appointees settle into their roles, they are expected to leverage their expertise and experience to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of life for residents of the Calabar Municipality.
