The journey to the Cross of Calvary was not an easy process. He was humiliated and tortured, but yet He allowed the will of His Father to be fulfilled.
Christ was humbled. He was obedient to His Father. He gave his life for us. He paid the debt he didn’t owe. All to the glory of God!
He was crucified and resurrected on the third day to fulfill what the scripture had said.
The unanswered questions are; who are you following? Are for Christ or for the world? Imagine you paying for the debt you didn’t owe how painful it could be. But Jesus never complained, he surrendered all he has and gave his life.
He died to save us from sin and death. While on the Cross, He said, “It is finished”.
Easter all over the world is the reflection of the suffering of Christ on the Cross and his resurrection. What is your stake in the Kingdom of God? Have you come to collect or to serve God?
There are many lessons to learn from this period. Christ is the reason why we are alive. Christ is our hope for yesterday, today and tomorrow. Where is your hope and future? Reflect about it for there is no time.
The Intercessory prayer points were handled by Apostle Ubong Thompson as was laid by the Holy Spirit.
Thompson prayed for harvest in our lives, prayed for rewards, for our children, families, business, he rebuked every locust in our lives, help us to produce fruits and that we may receive our prosperity and restore all that the devil has stolen from us.
He prayed according to the following Bible verses, Lk.5:4-7/Eccl.5:9/Isa.1:4/Job 36:4/Psa.126:6, 102:13 respectively.
This was a very powerful session as the Servant of God Prophet Sunday Obi was moved to dance round the choir stand for more grace.
There were testimonies, and healing.
The thirty minutes worship was inspiring and rewarding. It was a moment of sober reflection. There were encounters by the Holy Spirit.
“When you remember the journey to the Cross of Calvary, you must be sober.”
And the ARENA Echo International choir sang her Special No. “God is not a scam and He is not a liar “.
Prophet Sunday Obi, the General Overseer in his humble manner ushered the youngest Minister Rev Kingdom Obi as the guest speaker to present her message.
While speaking on the theme “My Season of harvest”, she described it as a time of fruitfulness, reaping the rewards of one’s spiritual labour and experiencing God’s blessings.
“Harvest means to gather or to reap. Spiritual harvest is a time of reward. Gen. 8:22. Do not mistake someone’s harvest season as yours while you are still in your planting season, (Eccl 3:1-2).
“God is a God of times and seasons and he has allotted also a time of harvest”.
Citing Matt. 6:33, she says you need to labour in the Kingdom before you can harvest. God also gives increase (1Cor:3:6-8).
She says, “do you understand God? Are you here to seek his face? The answer is as good as yours.”
Furthermore, she continues, have you come to collect? Have you come for God? What are you sowing in the Kingdom of God? Kingdom service is not only giving money, your services are important too. Have you won a soul for Christ? You need a strong reason to present to God.
“Your services speaks for your harvest and reaping”, she says. If you sow, you will reap. Continue to sow in God’s Kingdom.
God’s own general Prophet Sunday Obi had earlier said the corporate prayers according to the theme for the service.
He prayed for prosperity, for long life, increase in business as well as increase in our harvest in Jesus Name. Amen.
Earlier, Pst./Pst. Mrs. Peter Elemi had a thanksgiving in appreciation to God for restoring his life. It was a moment of joy and celebration.
The Prophet thereafter released blessings and conducted deliverance on people that were sorted out.
