“There were loud jubilation and celebration during Friday’s Service with the theme “God’s divine exemption” as the General Overseer, Prophet Sunday Obi, anointed the Son of the Prophet Victor Onen as the new Resident Pastor henceforth”
.
God says ARENA’s gate shall not be closed, hence His divine exemption from the plans of the evil men.
By this divine development, he automatically becomes the head of administration in God’s ARENA of Liberty (GOAL). Also, Pastor Peter Elemi is to head the ushering unit while Pastor Joseph Azogor becomes the Chief security officer.
Speaking, the General Overseer, Prophet Sunday Obi said the decision was taken after several consultations with God since 2020 searching for who will wear the shoes. Finally, he said, God led him to anoint Prophet Victor Onen as the Resident Pastor.
This brief ceremony attracted a lot of acceptance from the congregation as his name was mentioned signifying general acceptance.
Thereafter, Prophet Obi released grace upon his life as the newly anointed Resident Pastor.
According to him, “for several years now, attempts to entrust the day to day running of administration of ARENA had failed for one reason or the other. But today the mark of exemption had fallen on Prophet Victor Onen to lead the Ministry.
Because of his relationship with God, the mantle of leadership has fallen on him – Alleluia! You must know God to enjoy God’s divine exemption.
And as they people decided to walk with God, the Blood of Jesus Christ, placed a mark of exemption from destruction, sickness, death and failure in their lives.
Their obedience to the things of God automatically renewed their soared relationship with Him as He began to protect them from evil thoughts and gathering against the children of God.
Divine exemption is not an automatic thing so to say, you must work for it. It is a spiritual exercise that every believer should aspire to receive. Follow Jesus – the Only way to light.
Unfortunately, the tempo of lateness has not ceased. It is a habit of worshippers in Calabar to go to service late. Prophet Obi had frowned continually every Friday over this attitude but there is no sign of repentance.
Today’s service was actually meant for the anoniting of children and deliverance too.
Earlier, the Resident Pastor had raised prayer Points on God’s divine exemption
He prayed for God’s protection, for our lives,family, and destiny to be spared from evil, suffering, plagues, and destruction, according Exodus 12:13 and Psalm 91:7. Let the blood of Jesus seal us from calamities, accidents, and economic scarcity.
“Father, in the Name of Jesus, place your mark of divine exemption upon my life, my family, and my destiny, “By the blood of Jesus, I am exempted from all evil in the land, and from what others are suffering, “Oh you spirit of death, hear me now, I and all connected to me carry the mark of exemption, therefore stay clear by fire and “In the midst of lack and reduction, I decree that by the oil of exemption upon my life, I receive my ‘more than enough’.”
He prayed that “Every agenda of death, sickness, and destruction against my life and family, die in Jesus’ Name, “I command every wicked decree and judgment of death to be overturned and reversed back to the sender, “I cover my children, spouse, and family with the blood of Jesus, shielding them from accidents, kidnapping, and calamities and finally,
“Father, thank You for providing for all our needs and for keeping us safe at a time like this.”
This special session was rewarding as it ignited the prayer mood of worshippers during the service.
The testimonies were glorifying and pleasing to God.
Also, the thirty minutes worship rocked the kingdom of darkness as the congregation praised God during this session. It was truly spiritual. Worship is what we owe God. His presence was manifest and it was glorifying. The Prophet acknowledged this himself.
Also, the ARENA Echo International choir rendered her Special No “Yaweh, you are worthy of mine praise”. The congregation applauded her presentation as they made some loud noise in appreciation.
Acknowledging the choir, God’s own general Prophet Sunday Obi says, you can not give God food or cash, but what we owe him is praise. The measure you give is the measure you get. He says “my glory I will not share with anyone”. Going to church late doesn’t glorify God. Have you come to church today to be exempted? Jesus says, “if you are ashamed of me before men, I will be ashamed of you before my Heavenly Father”.
He admonished us to take the things of God serious. Rapture is very near and close.
“The time we are all waiting came. Time to hear the Word. The time to reflect on our lives. Time to obey His commandments. The time to be sober and seek his face”.
The Guest Speaker is Pst David Ibeh who spoke on the theme “God’s divine exemption”( Exd:12:13, Psa.91:9-10).
He defines God’s divine exemption as a sovereign act of setting His people apart so that they are spared from calamities, harm or judgement that affects them. It is not earned by one’s effort, but by covenant relationship with God.
Pst. Ibeh outlined three major ways that God’s divine exemption can be accessed. These are nature, basis and result. Nature has a way of protecting, covering or shielding believers from harm, danger or spiritual attacks – Psa. 5:12/Isa 54:17. Dan 3:25-27.
Basis: you must be rooted in God’s covenant like we find in the old testament where Blood was used as a mark of exemption.(Exd 12:13). Gen. 15/Jer. 31:31-34 respectively.
Finally, Results – those who abide in Him experienced protection, provision and immunity from premature death or disaster, John 15:7/Roms 8:31/Gen 6:9/Acts 28:1-6/John.10:28-30).
He gave examples of how we can apply divine exemption in our daily life such as stay in God’s presence – Psa 121:7-8, Calm God’s promises -Isa. 54:17 and Walk in obedience – John .14:15-16.
“We were exempted through Christ Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. When you know God, you can do exploit”. Today you will be exempted by the Blood in Jesus Name Amen!”.
Today, there is a new covenant working in our lives and not the old ones entered by Our fathers. Make the Word your covenant. It works miracles. Without Christ, there is no hope. Stay in his place and believe in His promises.
Earlier, Prophet Obi had thrown more light on the Word saying”after preaching Christ to World and you fail to do his Will, woe unto you”. Your relationship with God gives you an exemption. It is only the Egyptians that were not exempted because they had no mark on them. The mark on your forehead makes the evil one to flee when the see you.
He declared that today your mark will exempt you from all forms of evil – Amen! Evil shall not befall you. You shall not die. Sickness shall not be your portion in Jesus Name Amen.
The following Bible verses are of good reference points. Exd.9:22-27,12:12-13/13:21-22/1Chro.16:20-26/Psa 105:13-15 respectively.
Before real Ministration, the Prophet directed that a 7-point prayer be made by Rev. Mrs Kingdom Lambe. She started by appreciating God for his mercies upon our lives.
She prayed for a mark of exemption in our lives, children, business and spiritual life, let the Blood of Jesus become a mark of exemption, that God should separate us from family covenant, let God give us Mark of favour and exemption, crush as many that have sat down to plot evil against us, our children and family in Jesus Name Amen.
And the ministration came. There were deliverance, healing and prophetic Instructions as directed by the Holy Spirit during the service.
The highlight of the service was the anointing of children, unborn babies as well as others. It was an encounter. His Presence was manifest during the service..
