The Redeemer of Israel – God Almighty says in Isaiah 43:19 “Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert”.
This was the promise He made to Israel when they were faced with difficulties in the land of Egypt. Behold He saw them through many difficulties that came their way as they decided to seek His face and ways.
He did it for the people of old and He is still doing it now. The theme of today’s service says “In The Days Of His Power” – (Psa 110:3).
Today, God is asking you what is that challenge that brought you to church, tell Him your challenges and he will restore them and give you a change of story or a new beginning.
The present global economic situation has made Christians or believers not to trust in their God and His powers. This is very unfortunate. He did so much for the people of old who decided to follow or seek His face – Alleluia!
In No.11 Otu Ansa Street, at God’s ARENA of Liberty (GOAL) aka “Enough is Enough”, God used His power to change many people’s ugly situation to a new thing.
Imagine! People could give lack of transport as an excuse not for coming to church to worship God. Some have backslided due to one excuses or the other. Yet, they expect God to bless them.
However, the situation changed today as God decided to bless those who genuinely want to follow His ways during the service. It became a spiritual and personal issue with you and your God communicating directly with Him.
But hear this, “this is for the righteous. Sin is a very big barrier for you to access God’s power”.
The few that attended the service harkened to the advise of the Prophet in the house as he instructed them to follow and some began to receive turnaround in their lives during the service.
It was a very unique service of its own. It was like a movie but the spirit of God was on course directing where necessary as Prophet Sunday Obi Enu did the needful.
The Intercessory prayer points were anchored by the Son of the Prophet, Prophet Victor Onen. He took his lead text from Psa 110:3 as it were. First, he appreciated God for his mercies upon our lives.
He prayed for the manifestation of God’s power in our marriage, children, spiritual life and business, that by the risen of the service, we shall march forward in this year, against every enemy blocking our progress, let them be scattered, that God revive the soul of unbelievers in our families, that they should have an encounter with Jesus, that in the days of His power, men should be willing to serve God, that they shall seek for salvation and that powers from our father or mother foundation will not stop us from making progress in Jesus Name Amen.
The testimony time came and was rewarding in his sight as testifiers glorified His Name in appreciation to how he made what could have been worse situations to turn around for good. The thirty minutes worship was spiritual too. It paved the way for more spiritual things that came thereafter as the service progressed into different dimensions. And the ARENA Echo International choir rendered her Special No to the admiration of the congregation.
God’s own general Prophet Sunday Enu Obi, began to praise his Master Jesus Christ as he took over the stage singing “how great thou art, Father we declare our everlasting love for you, I need you, who is like unto thee and do something new in my life – all in praises to God.
Today, he says, “you are going to liberate yourself by dancing for three minutes worship and letting God know three main challenges that brought you to church and you will get the result – Amen! Thereafter, was the Word.
Presenting the Word, the guest speaker, Pst Mrs. Phil Adams, began to appreciate God for giving her the opportunity to profess His word according to in Psa 110:3 which says “Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth”.
She described the power of God as a display of supernatural act, miracles and signs designed to reveal His glory, to deliver His people and establish his Kingdom. This power is called “Dunamis” – miraculous power.
These miraculous power were noticed during creation (jer.10:12) the flood (Gen 7:11) parting the Red Sea (Exd 14:21-22) and transfiguration (Matt 17:2) amongst others. There were so many other demonstration of His power as recorded in the Holy Bible.
She says, “when the power of God engulfs you, you will become a sign and wonder to your enemies”. Chains break, things begin to turn around faster, there shall be restoration and recovering.
Key aspects of God’s power includes, Omnipotence – all powerful, creation and sustaining power, supernatural and miraculous power and absolute dominion.
Characteristics of the days of His power are Divine Visitation – Psa 110:3, atmosphere of miracles and wonders – Acts 10:38, Manifestation of his Kingdom 1Cor.4:20, judgement of enemy John 16:9-11 and willingness to surrender – Psa 110:3/Zech 8:23.
In the days of His power, she says volunteers fight for the cause of God – judges 5:1-31, they fast – Esther 4:1-5, they give – Acts 27:13-38, service to God -Jhn 6:66-71 and prayers – Acts 6:4 respectively.
According to her, “today is the days of His power because God goes out before His people – judges 4:14, volunteers respond to the prompting of God to the battle – judges 5:1-2, volunteers arise in faith to move against the enemy and God’s people respond to programs like the just concluded Youth program in Biajua in Boki local government area of Cross River State anchored by Prophet Victor Onen.
She reeled some keys to access the power of God. You must be willing and obedient – John 36:11/Isa 1:19, hunger and thirsty for God – Matt, 5:6, purity and holiness – PSA 24:3-5, unity and agreement – Acts 2:1-2, faith and expectations – mk 9:23 and prayer and fasting – Acts 4:31.
“When God arises in his power, nothing remains the same, mountains crumble, chains breaks and destinies open” – Alleluia!
The General Overseer reaffirmed all administrative powers on the Resident Pastor, Prophet Victor Onen and others.
He had earlier made some emphasis on the theme saying you can not access His power until you show the willingness to follow Him. It is not how long you have been in the church, but what impact have you made? He declared, today the Egyptians you see in your life, you shall not see them again. There were turnarounds in the lives of the children of Israel. God showed them mercy and rescued them from the hands of the Pharaoh.
“You must know Jesus too well before you can access his power like the woman with the issue of blood and blind Berthimous in the Bible. They knew him and what he was capable of doing, hence they willingly decided to follow Him”.
“You must be righteous to be able to access the power of God – Prophet Sunday Enu Obi says”.

Seven prayer points were duly raised by the Choir Mistress, Pst Mrs Rita Kelvin Okang as led by the Holy Spirit. She began by appreciating God for his mercies upon our lives, prayed for salvation of our souls, God should arise and fight our battle, against every evil powers, prayed for faith and that God should touch us and let our afflictions go in Jesus Name Amen.
The ministration took a different dimension as God’s own general Prophet Sunday Obi Enu directed worshippers to dance round his Pulpit three times and get their blessings. And God honored His word as they began to manifest in anointing – Amen.
He also directed that as they danced, they should touch the Pulpit and pass which they did and many were liberated and got a new thing in their lives.
Regrettably, the devil’s attempt to obstruct the service through the generating set proved abortive. Woe to him, as the service continued and ended in peace to the glory of God.
