Like every Communion service, it comes with its peculiar and unique manner. And so was Friday’s Service tagged with “Facing Giants”, a very unique theme as it were.
The General Overseer Prophet Sunday Enu Obi, could not hide his feelings from the moment he stepped into the premises till the end of the service. He was all smiles and happy throughout the duration. Friday March 13, 2026 was a special day with Jesus Christ at No.11 Otu Ansa, along Immigration Services, Edimotop, Calabar. Jesus Christ is passing along the street and there was an encounter. The Covenant keeping God kept to His promises.
He provided His people the armoury to crush the giants in their lives. He gave them the courage and confidence to face the giants. He is a Covenant keeping God.
As the service started as if nothing was going to happen as man would think, but “what God cannot do those not exist”. He later showed up in His Mighty Nature spiritually, bulldozing and crushing all the giants around the people of God.

After the thirty minutes worship, which was glorifying, God ignited the whole atmosphere with fire, grace and power. There was fire everywhere. The giants in the lives of the children of God began to grumble – Alleluia!
Remember, God says, he will fight for us when we call upon His Name, He will open when we knock and will find when we seek His face. Bring your load to Him and he will give us rest. He is a reliable and unchangeable God at all times. He is a Covenant keeping God.
“And the gate of Heaven opened with several packages and gifts for the children of God to receive, if only you are righteous. The gift of God is for those who have given their lives to Christ”.
The ARENA Echo International choir had rendered her Special No “All things are possible in Jesus Name”. The Prophet and the congregation had applauded her for that inspiring song.
He says, the Name of Jesus is powerful both in the spiritual and in the physical realm. It doesn’t matter what you’re passing through – Amen!
According to him, “until you are somebody, no one fights you”. We all have giants in our lives. Giants of life are enormous and until you confront them face to face with courage and confidence, the will not give way.”

The Resident Pastor Prophet Victor Onen, took the Intercessory prayer text from Psa.18 :21: “Every giant standing on my way to the Promised Land, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus, Lord, reveal the secret of every hidden giant in my life to me, in the name of Jesus, and Every problem that has converted itself to a giant in my life, be slain by the power of God, in the name of Jesus.”
“I release myself from the bondage of spiritual giants, in the name of Jesus, All my benefits that have been captured by household enemies, be released now, in the name of Jesus, I confront and conquer every opposing force of darkness assigned against my life, in the name of Jesus and Every giant-like enemy occupying my Promised Land, your end has come today, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.” It was glorifying.
God’s own general, Prophet Sunday Enu Obi, in his usual humble manner ushered the guest speaker, Eld. Peter Elemi to present the Word. He appreciated God for the opportunity given to him as the guest speaker.
According to him, “imperfection is far from man”. Perfection is connected to God Almighty alone. We have sinned and come short of the glory of God. But today by risen of the service, God will deliver you from giants in our life.

Speaking from 1 Sam.17:44-51, Pst. Elemi gave a brief knowledge of the Bible verses between the Philistine and David and how God stood by him.
He defines facing as towards a specified direction or location while giants are something usually large or powerful eg Goliath in the Bible, elephant, ship or aeroplane etc.
The Lord of Host was with David when he confronted Goliath – Amen. He gave him, courage, faith, trust, praise and confidence to face Goliath during the war. Humility lifts up a man. Pride brings him down. David was a humble servant of God.
He enumerated some examples of giants in our lives, lack of love in the things of God via words and actions, lateness to church, temptation, worry, guilt, loneliness, lack of money and murmuring.
Others are, house rent, witchcraft, joblessness, immorality, fruit of the womb, barrenness, clear vision and courage.
Pst. Elemi also listed what we should do to slay or defeat giants in our lives. These include preparation and commitment to battle giants with prayers – 2Corth 10:4, courage to fight giants, constant communication with God Psa 18:2, capability/confidence – Eph. 6:12 and total submission to God Jas. 4:7.
These five stones gave victory to David against his giants and He is the same God and He will give you victory – Amen! The message was very powerful and amazing.
Emphasising further, the Prophet described giants as a turbulent situation in our lives. But today, God will crush them in Jesus Name Amen. Today, giants shall die. We reject every giants that has blocked our ways Amen!
According to him, “today we shall praise God to defeat the Giants because giants fear praises.” And directed the instrumentalists and choir to sing as the congregation danced their giants off their shoulders”.

“And it was praises after praises before he began ministration proper. Earlier, during the praise session, God visited some people while the praises were going on”.
The ministration took another dimension during the service as the Holy Spirit directs. It was awesome and rewarding. He actually kept his Covenant with his people. It was mainly a personal deliverance all through. Our God showed up Mightily.
Pst. Mrs. Adeline Elemi had presented the seven prayer points as follows. She appreciated God and prayed that God should give us the grace to confront our giants head on, that God should reject every giants in our lives, Lord, I surrender to your authority, deliver me, Lord provide us with the stones to withstand the giants and let the earth swallow the giants and cause them to restore and recover all that was stolen from us in Jesus Name Amen.
Prophet Sunday Enu Obi could not hide his joy and happiness as the curtain drew close to end the service. It was a divine moment. And he began to release blessings upon the lives of the worshipers.
The entire ARENA was spiritually electrified during the Communion service.

The testimonies were awesome and rewarding. They showed gratitude for what God did to them.
