“Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”
The promises of God have never failed and can never be cut short in our lives so long as we walk with Christ. No demon, no evil foundation or affliction can stop you. It is a Covenant and a promise kept from Old to New Testament. None has failed because “it is written”.
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
“Jeremiah 29:11 – “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
“Romans 8:30 – “And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.”
“James 4:10 – “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up”.

Despite the heavy rain, worshippers humbled themselves and attended the Friday’s Service in their numbers. Those that braved the rain were the ones destined for greatness. Nothing can stop them from being what God has destined for them under rain and sun. Before creation, it is written that these set of worshippers would be there on Friday. Glory be to God!.
The General Overseer Prophet Sunday Enu Obi had always said he would do the Will of His Master – paraventure, he enters the church and meets only one individual. This is rainy season and it is God’s design and desire that it would rain – Amen!
As usual, he began to appreciate His Master Jesus Christ by dancing round the choir stand and his Altar. It was awesome and amazing.
This segment was followed by a powerful Intercessory prayer led by Min. Mrs. Rita Kelvin Okang as the Holy Spirit directed.
She appreciated God for the opportunity to see this day praying “Oh Lord God, anywhere my destiny has been buried, let it catch fire in Jesus Name Amen,
Oh Lord every altar speaking against my destiny should be destroyed, Oh Lord, spoilers and destroyers of my destiny, let them catch fire in Jesus Name Amen,
Oh Lord God, let the book of remembrance be opened so that my helper will find me and Oh Lord God, I recover my destiny that has been stolen in Jesus Name”.
The Intercessory prayers ignited the entire premises and rekindled the spirit of worshippers for greatness.
It was a fulfilled session. It was rewarding. The Spirit of God came down in Glory!
Another glorious moment came. It was the thirty minutes worship and praise. During the session, the gates of Heaven opened widely for the humble to connect to their destined greatness. It was a moment to recount. It was spiritual. The Angels acknowledged our supplications and petitions.

The testimonies were glorifying as the Choir rendered her Special No to appreciate God. The General Overseer had testified what God always does during every first Sunday of the month during service that is always held at No. 11 Otu Ansa street. He advised worshippers to take advantage of it and invite their friends and loved ones to come and benefit from what God is doing in ARENA.
Shortly before the exhortation, Prophet Obi, after appreciating the Choir for her glorious and excellent performance, said “Heaven is real and hell is real. When Jesus comes where will you be?” Wondering how and why people will come late to fellowship because of rain and pointed that willingness, preparedness and early arrival is the key to greatness.
He referenced the very early arrival of people on the day the governor’s team, HE Prince Bassey Otu visited to GAOL despite the heavy rain. He recalled the revelation God showed him in a dream the night before, and released prophetic blessings on the early arrivals accordingly.
It was very powerful and exceptional ministration resulting in diverse encounters to the glory of God. This is how rapture will be he continued. Unfortunately, on such special days, people give in to the tricks of the devil to come late or not come at all thus miss special visitations.
Prophet Sunday Enu Obi at this point ushered in the guest speaker Min. Loveth Eban to the Pulpit to present the Word entitled “Destined for Greatness”
She appreciated God for giving her the opportunity to profess His Word.
According to her “Destined for Greatness” means that God has a special purpose and plan for a person’s life.
Furthermore, it does not necessarily mean that a person will become rich or famous, instead it means God has called them to fulfill His will and make a positive impact according to His purpose in their lives.
This also means someone is believed to have a future filled with great success, achievement or importance. They have the potential or purpose to accomplish remarkable things in life

She reeled out some examples of people who were destined for greatness as recorded in the Bible. They are, Joseph – Genesis 41-53, David; 1 Samuel 16-1, Jeremiah 1-5
For one to achieve greatness, she said, there are key points you must have. You must accept God’s purpose for your life, have faith in God, Obey God’s Word, pray regularly, and be humble.
However, there are things you do that hinder greatness. Avoid sin and disobedience, pride, fear, laziness, lack of faith, bad company, unforgiveness, lack of wisdom and giving up too soon.
Above all, she concludes that “true greatness is measured by faithfulness to God, humility and service to others. Greatness usually requires effort, perseverance and good choice not just destiny”.
For further details read Gen 41:53/1 Sam, 26;1-9/Jer:1.
However, Prophet Obi further added that great people must pass through challenges in life but God always makes a away out. Destiny he said, is to fulfill God’s purpose for one’s life Jer 29:11. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Everybody has a purpose in life, but how do you know it, how do you acquire it and how do you fulfill it? Greater than greatness is what we are talking about here. What God has purposed for you can only be delayed not prevented. I never wanted to be a Pastor but at the appointed time I became one with extra ordinary grace.
“Prayerfully ask God of your
purpose, potential and gifts to enable you function accordingly (1 Peter 2:9 “…chosen generation…) else you become like a prince/princess being ruled by servants (Eccl. 10:7).
David after being anointed still went on to ministering to Saul not recognizing his new position as king/supremacy over him. See 1 Samuel 16:14-23, When the glory of God is upon you, darkness cannot overshadow you. Don’t take where your glory is for granted, have faith, be humble and avoid pride, let God announce you, trust in God, Satan is ever opposing God’s good plan for man’s life. Trust in God and don’t give up (Eph 2:10). You can love your neighbour only after you have loved yourself to overflow. Ref: Phil 1:6, Pro 3:5-6, 2 Tim 1:9, Deut 28:13.
Corporate prayer was anchored by Apostle Ubong Thompson as he first appreciated God.

He prayed that which God has purposed for me to become in life, let it come to pass; that which eye has not seen, nor eat heard, nor any mind imagined, let it come to pass in my life – 1 Cor 2:9; help me to manifest your glory in every area of my life and family – Rms 8:19/Isa 60:1, let the seed of greatness show forth in my life and family; I shall not die untimely without fulfilling the purpose for which God created me – Ps 118:17; Lord break protocol to favour, lift me up and for me to fulfil my destiny; every handwriting against our destiny and fulfilling purpose be erased by the Blood of Jesus and the force of mercy, in Jesus Name Amen!
The ministration was divine and glorious. Many victims were released from bondage to the glory of God.
Before the service ended there were Prophetic prayers by the Prophet himself as follows:
“Oh Lord God, send my destiny helpers to locate me, I am what God says I am, I will be what God says and I will do what God says, as I raise up my hands let every opposing powers from my parents house against my destiny die by fire, as I clap my hands, let whatever mountain or altar speaking against my destiny scatter in Jesus Name Amen!
First timers were duly welcomed and prayed for.
