God is still the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. He has never changed. He does not have part two. He is Perfect in all His dealings. All you need do as a believer is to trust and believe in His Word. His Word is full of life, it transforms and revives the spirit.
And so nothing takes God by surprise. He knows the heart of man, yet He loves us more than we love Him.
John 1:1 says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
“Yes, if you have the Word, your life is insured. If you have the Word you are bold, and if you have the Word, you are a winner in Christ Jesus.”
In the past few weeks, ARENA has experienced few difficulties, but the Word of God has kept the Ministry running steady. It can only be God. Like in every Communion Service, this one is not an exception, it had its own uniqueness and dimensions. It was awesome. Glory be to God.
Can the Sun or Rain stop the people from worshiping their God? The answer is “No”. The rain or sun is the Lord’s doing. It is for a reason. God cannot be judged. Everything is in His hands – Alleluia!
Glory be to God – Amen!
The General Overseer Prophet Sunday Enu Obi has never lost sleep when it comes to attendance during Friday programs knowing whom he is serving. He appreciated His Master Jesus Christ by dancing round the choir stand and the Altar in thanksgiving. Ever happy like never before as the drums beat to the glory of God.
The Intercessory prayer was taken by Evang Blessing Asim, who appreciated God for the grace to be able to serve Him. She thanked God for life, good health, protection and provision, Psalm 51:1, 9-12, Oh Lord have mercy upon us, Isaiah 43:18-19, Oh Lord do a new thing in my life by transforming my life from nobody to somebody, Act 10:38, Heavenly Father empower me for signs and wonders -Job 5:20-22, Oh Lord God save me from destruction -(Phil 1:6), Heavenly Father begin and finish every good work in my life Amen, and the congregation began to give thanks to God once again.
It was a powerful session. The spirit of the Lord manifested to His Glory.
The thirty minutes worship came as usual and ignited the entire premises. The stage was set for spiritual emancipation and revival. There was liberation, songs of victory and celebration in the church. This time around, every spirit knows its level. The good ones separated themselves while the evil ones fled.
It was a very serious spiritual exercise, rewarding and pleasing to God Himself Alone. All glory and thanksgiving be unto Him.
The testimonies were revealing and heartbreaking. The Arena Echo International Choir rendered her Special No in thanksgiving to God Almighty.
And the hour came for us to hear the Word as the Prophet in his usual cheerful manner introduced a seasoned Minister of God Apostle Ubong Thompson to deliver the Word titled “Life Transforming Revival” to the glory of God.
He took his lead text from Ezekiel 37:1-4. He defined revival as “To Live Again”. It is God supernaturally visiting His people and restoring spiritual life, passion, and power that was lost, cold, or dead -Psalm 85:6/Hosea 6:1-2.
“Revival is not starting a new church. It’s God breathing on an existing church, person, or nation that has grown cold, dry, or religious -Acts 2:1-4 is the best picture: The same disciples who were hiding suddenly became bold, holy, and fruitful.
It is God centered and not man centered and starts when heaven shows up. When God comes, man’s ego goes down and Jesus goes up – John 3:30.The focus is on God not man or pastor. Testimonies point to God not man.
He said that it must be Word centered with power, fruit centered, deep conviction, and repentance. There must be fresh filling of the Holy Spirit, power for signs and wonders and deliverance Mark 16:20.
Sicknesses, bondages, and curses break. Isaiah 10:27
There must be Soul winning and church growth – Acts 2:41,47.
Evangelism becomes natural. The church multiplies and love, unity and generosity – Acts 2:44-45 – They had all things in common…. distributed to all.” Gossip, division, and selfishness die. Brotherly love returns – John 13:35
In it, there must be Holiness and Godly character – Acts 2:42, Open heavens – Malachi 3:10 and
Financial, marital, and ministry doors open. Testimonies increase.
Apostle Ubong also highlighted factors that could hinder revival. Revival is God’s will, but these things block it. (Isaiah 59:1-2).
SIN & COMPROMISE – Isaiah 59:2, PRIDE & SELF-SUFFICIENCY – Hosea 7:10, LACK OF PRAYER – Ezekiel 22:30, LOVE OF THE WORLD & MATERIALISM – 1 John 2:16, QUENCHING THE HOLY SPIRIt -1 Thess 5:19-20, DIVISION & OFFENSE – Psalm 133:1-3, NO HUNGER OR DESPERATION – Revelation 3:1
Other factors include, Humility,
Prayer, Seeking His face and Repentance.
The message was compact and direct. There were life, transformation and revival. It was rich in the realm.
Earlier, Prophet Sunday Enu Obi had thrown more light on the theme citing the following Bible verses, Psalms 85:6-7/Habakkuk 3:2/Psalms 119:25/Romans 12:2/2 Corinthians 5:17/Ezekiel 36:26-27.
Others are, 2 Chronicles 7:14/Acts 3:19/Acts 2:1 to the end
and Jonah 3:1 to the end to buttress his message.
The 7-points prayer was awesome. The ministration was perfect as led by the Holy Spirit. It stress free. The hand of God was upon the Prophet during the service. God kept to His Covenant.
As many that were sorted out received their revival instantly before the end of the service. There was great relief on their faces.
First timers were duly welcomed and prayed for.
