The Executive Vice Chairman of Bakassi LGA, Hon. (Princess) Christiana Eso, has continued her grassroots engagement across the local government with a meeting with a cross-section of women, including ward executives of the Progressive Women Front, Bakassi Chapter.

The engagement focused on strengthening ward structures and ensuring effective mobilisation down to the polling-unit level. Hon. Eso urged the women not to relent in their efforts, stressing the importance of a strong and coordinated grassroots network.

She also called on the women to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Bassey Edet Otu’s second-term bid and not be distracted by political antics from the opposition.

Responding to her call, the women pledged their support for Governor Otu, citing the prevailing peace and security in Bakassi as a major reason. They noted that they can now move freely within their communities without the fear and restrictions previously experienced.

The women further pledged to take the campaign into their homes, assuring that they would mobilise their households to vote massively for the APC.

The engagement underscores Hon. Eso’s continued commitment to grassroots mobilisation, political organisation and sustained engagement with women across Bakassi Local government Area.
