Grassroots mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has begun at top speed and is spreading like wild fire through 176,846 communities in Nigeria. Women who are the foot soldiers at all polling units are already holding meetings and engagements on a daily basis to map out strategies to ensure President Bola Tinubu wins his second term elections convincingly come January 2027.
The Director of Women Mobilisation of the All Progressive Congress Presidential Campaign Council Dr Betta Edu working under the Leadership of The First Lady, Sen Oluremi Tinubu CON alongside other members of the directorate have began the activation of the 176,846 communities that house polling units. Robust engagement and planning are currently underway.
From Ward 1 In Gumel Local Government JIgawa State to dawaki ward and 15 other Wards in dawakin Kudu LGA, wards in bebeji, Sabongari and Kano municipal of Kano state, to wards in Maradun, Gusau and other LGAs in Zamfara, to Wards in Ilorin, and other LGAs in Kwara state, to Imo state, Cross River state, Benue, Pleatue state, Oyo Ondo, Rivers, Osun and across the country Women are very excited and in high spirit engaging with one another and strategizing on ways to mobilize other women and even men in their communities for President Tinubu’s reelection.
For these women, some basic things have positively affected their lives and families and must be sustained by the reelection of President Bola Tinubu and Sen Kashim Shettima. Their children are no longer dropping out of university because they can’t afford it. NELFUND have provided both school fees and upkeep for their children, thereby taking that load off their shoulders. Other empowerment programs, especially by the wife of the President, Sen Oluremi Tinubu’s initiative (Renewed Hope Initiatives), have made a great difference in their lives and families.
Communities and ward meetings are going on, and women are convinced that if they continue with this energy; at this rate and unity, the elections will be delivered for the President with ease.APC Women, One strength, OUR VICTORY!
