Divinely, each time it is Communion Service, there is good news waiting for someone or group of people. God has always used the opportunity to bless His people. It has always been a unique gathering where things begin to work out spiritually for the children of God.
This day was not an exception either. It is a season of abundance. A supernatural shift from a time of lack, testing, or waiting into a time of divine favor and overflow.
Apart from material wealth, spiritual abundance is not just about money; it goes beyond overflowing peace, joy, good health, and spiritual growth.
As the people trusted and relied on the supernatural power of God through Jesus Christ the Son, it ultimately brings an overflowing supply of positive experiences or resources.
Generally speaking in everyday language, a season of abundance is a time when everything seems to go right or when resources are highly available.

Psalm 65:11
“You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance” while Amos 9:13 “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord, “When the plowman shall overtake the reaper, And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine, And all the hills shall flow with it.
As a believer your work in the vineyard of God speaks for you. It is your service in God’s Kingdom that will showcase you for a season of abundance. It is a spiritual journey. The season of abundance gives you overflow and you become a blessing to others.
During the service, there were enough success, love and happiness amongst worshippers as they showed gratitude to God.
The Intercessory prayer points were anchored by Min. Fustina Ogben accordingly.
She prayed for Divine Abundance — John 10:10
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly, for Financial Abundance – Philippians 4:19
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus, for Open Doors and Divine Favour -Revelation 3:8
“Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it, for Fruitfulness – Psalm 65:11
“Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness, for Employment and Career Advancement -Deuteronomy 28:12 “The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand.”

Furthermore, she prayed for Abundance in Marriage – Psalm 84:11 “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly, for Restoration
Joel 2:25
“And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, for Wisdom and Divine Direction -Proverbs 3:5–6 “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths, Against Fruitless Labour – Isaiah 65:23
“They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble and for Thanksgiving and the Fulfilment of God’s Promises – Psalm 23:1
“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.”
It was a fire brand prayer that drew heaven’s attention.
As usual, the General Overseer Prophet Sunday Obi had danced round the choir stand and his Altar giving thanks to God.
This was followed by the thirty minutes worship. The moment that you commune with your God seeking abundance in every sphere of life. It was rewarding and pleasing to God.
Prophet Sunday Enu Obi introduced the guest speaker Minister Loveth Eban to the Pulpit to present the Word titled “Season of Abundance”.
She described it as a season in which God brings increase, provision, fruitfulness, favour and overflowing blessings into a persons life after a period of waiting, struggle and lack.
She listed what happens when it is season of abundance as doors begin to open – Revelation 3:8, your labour becomes fruitful – Psalms 1:3, you experience restoration – Joel 2 :25 and you will have enough to bless other – Corinthians 9: 11.
Also, in the season of abundance your testimonies emerge – John 16:24.
Min. Mrs. Eban, gave examples of people who experienced God’s abundance in the Bible such as Joseph – Genesis 41:29 and Isaac – Genesis 26:12.
According to her, there are things that shut doors of abundance. These include, disobedience to God, it can hinder the blessings God desires to give to a person Deuteronomy 28: 1, sin and repentance , continually holding into sin can create a separation between a person and God Isaiah 59: 1-2, lack of faith, doubt and unbelief can prevent a person from fully trusting God’s promises – James 1:6 and fear -Timothy 1:7.

Others are laziness – Proverbs 10:4, wrong use of resources, Luke 16: 20, greed and selfishness – Luke 12:15, forgiveness and bitterness – Ephesians 4:31-ignoring God’s instructions – Deuteronomy 28:1 and give up too soon – Galatians 6: 9.
The message was well packaged and delivered to the glory of God.
However, Prophet Obi had thrown more light on the theme saying Season of Abundance is a time to get intimate with God when you understand and practice His Covenant of Prosperity. God’s plan of abundance for his children is a covenant. When believers do their part, God’s commitment to supply abundance is sure.
Also essential to this are seedtime and harvest, true love for God, aligning with spiritual commands and obeying scriptural principles. God’s plan for man is abundance in all spheres, it is wholesome, hence a redemptive right of believers.
“Abundance is for the believer’s profiting, God’s work and for blessing of others. Never forget that it is He that gives power to get abundance whether spiritual, physical, financial etc.”
He continued “Your input matters a lot as in Deut 28:1 “…and Isaac sowed in the land…” Despite the scriptures your input determines your output. Sow sparingly and reap sparingly. A certain man of God condemns tithing saying it was meant for only the Israelites then, thus misleading people – Mal 3:10. It is wise to invest and when you do, the outcome is abundant harvest.
The scriptures say “He maketh me to lie down in green pastures” – Psalm 23:2a, “the Lord shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus” – Phil 4:19. When abundance comes, need disappears. It also says, “…. I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” “you shall eat in plenty…” – Joel 2:26, “…ye shall eat the good of the land..” – Is 1:19. Shame reduces one’s personality. You should live a life of sufficiency. Abundance can also come through men positioned by God to favour and help you. He advised that every morning, we should tell God “I shall eat the fruit of my labour.”

The Corporate Prayer was taken by Apostle Ubong Thompson.
“O Lord God! let your mercy preserve my life and everything you have put in my hand; Psalm 102:13 – let your mercy arise over my life that I may enter into and enjoy my season of abundance in all spheres; Isaiah 60:3 – let gentiles come to my light and kings to my rising; may you arrange circumstances to usher me into my season of abundance; in the place of payer, I take authority over every hindrances standing in the way as I enter into my season of abundance; In this season of abundance, may you crown me with your glory and change my name to a new name, let every famine be swallowed up by abundance and let there be increase. All in Jesus Christ Name we pray. Amen!
