A Two Day Workshop on Effective Government- Labour Relations In Cross River State Civil and Public Service organized by the Ministry of Establishment, Training and Pensions holds on Tuesday and Wednesday March 19 and 20 ,2024 at The Sideview Hotel in Ikom LGA.
The program of activities released from the office of the Commissioner for Establishments, Training and Pensions, Hon. Mrs.Lawrencia Ita indicates that the event will be declared open by His Excellency, The State Governor, Senator, Prince, Bassey Edet Otu.
The document also shows that resource persons will be drawn from all walks of life especially professionals on labour matters.
Some of the topics to be discussed include Effective Government- Labour Relations In CRS Civil and Public Service to be handled by Dr. (Mrs) Emilia Ekanem; Challenges Of Achieving Macro Economic And Development Goals by Mr Anthony Umoh while Mr George Togomovwo is scheduled to present the paper on Government- Labour Relations As Instrument For Improved Retirement Life; Singapore Model as well as The Contributory Pension Scheme: Benefits, Implementation and Challenges to be handled by Mr Anthony Umoh.
Participants are to be drawn from the Labour Unions.
