The Madiaha and Prince Otu female Football clubs who engaged in a novelty encounter on March 8 to mark the 2024 International Women Day Celebration jointly paid a solidarity visit to the Hon Commissioner for Establishments, Training and Pensions in her office recently.
The match which was at the instance of The First Lady, Her Excellency, Rev Mrs. Eyoawan Edet Otu was played at the UJ Esuene, International Stadium, Calabar under flood light .

The jubilant women who were smartly adorned with their sport wears said that the visit was to appreciate the Hon Commissioner ‘s identification with them in strong terms.
The visit was lead by the captains who displayed the trophy for the match.
Receiving the sport enthusiasts the Commissioner commended The First Lady for her display of magnanimity and expressed optimism that women in the state were heavily impacted by the gesture.

She also praised the willingness of the young women to participate in the event and promised to remain supportive of all women programs particularly those aimed at promoting womanhood and humanity.
