The Chairman of Obubra Local government area, Hon Kingsley Ibon Arikpo, holds the mandate of people of the eleven Council Wards that constitute Obubra, His exalted office as leader and Chief Security Officer of council, should be held with esteemed regards.
Speaking on the Iyamoyong issue, he said “one should not be tempted to mislead members of the public in the social media space about the contention between Iyamoyong head chief and office of the Chairman”.
A statement issued by the Chief press secretary, Comrade Ekong Okpa said “as fresh facts have emerged on the crucial matter, we would come up with a press statement to let members of the public to know the true position of the issue”.
Meanwhile, the Council Chairman Hon. Arikpo “has advised youths, women and Chiefs in the area to remain calm in the face of obvious provocation”.
