Victorious All Stars Veteran F.C. at the training pitch of the U. J Esuene stadium defeated American Veteran FC by two goals to nil in the ongoing second edition of the Prince Otu’s Veteran Super League.
In the other encounter, Unified Breed Veterans defeated Diamond All Stars Veteran by two goals to nothing.
Meanwhile, Tinapa All Stars Veteran will slug it out with Simbas Veteran in the ongoing Prince Otu’s Veteran Super League match.
The soccer encounter is billed to kick of at 4pm.
Mainwhile, the Chairman of the Cross River State sports Commission, Mr Lawrence Etta Itanya, has called on fans and supporters of veteran clubs to turn out in large numbers to watch aside from football, other 10 competing sports events of the Prince Otu’s veteran super league, .
Other sporting events includes- Scrabble, tennis, badminton, arm wrestling, table tennis, snooker, golf, draft, chess and handball.
The second edition of the Prince Otu’s veteran super league kick started on Sunday, June 7 and will be concluded on Sunday, June 28 , 2026.
The veteran league is meant for veterans above the age of forty five.
