E-WORLD UNITED EMERGES CHAMPIONS OF NATIONWIDE LEAGUE ONE AT CALABAR CENTRE

E-world United Football Club of Calabar has emerged victorious at the calabar centre of the just concluded Nationwide League One. 


The Club defeated Mojoda F. C. also of Calabar by two goals to nil in a final match day five play off of the nationwide League One game at the main bowl of the U. J Esuene stadium. 


Jude Ayibe opened scoring for E-World United in the 24th minute of the first half, uwem Akpan scored the second goal in the 35th minute to gain victory.


Speaking after the match, the captain of E-world united, Patrick kayang revealed that the secret of their success was attributed to hard work, fairplay and discipline. He expressed optimism that the team will win its Akwa lbom state opponent in the next NLO Game at Yenegoa, Bayelsa State later this month. 


In the other NLO match played earlier at the same venue, Liberty Lions of Calabar defeated Diamond Stars also of Calabar by a lone goal.


Meanwhile, E-world United tops the nationwide League One play off at the Calabar centre, with eight points from four matches, closely followed by Prince Steven Football Club with seven points, Mojoda is placed third with six points, Liberty Lions came fourth with four points, while Diamond Stars occupies the last position with only three points.
