Thirty-eight newly promoted Inspectors have been decorated with their new ranks at the Zone 6 Headquarters, Calabar.
The Assistant Commissioners of Police ACP Ngozi Ezeabata (DFA) and ACP Ogunjide Joseph psc (ZDOPS) who decorated the Officers on behalf of the AIG, charged them to put in their best in the performance of their professional duties and count themselves lucky to be so favoured by the IGP Usman Baba Alkali psc(+), NPM, fdc, as part of his manpower development drive to encourage deserving personnel.
Speaking on behalf of the promoted Officers, Inspector Gift Ubi thanked God, the IGP and the entire Police management team for finding them worthy of elevation to a higher rank and pledged to redouble their loyalty and commitment in performance their duty to justify the confidence reposed in them.
