Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.
“Is there anything that our Jesus cannot do, is there anything tell me”.
“What God cannot do does not exist”.
He is ” Abba Father, Comforter, Redeemer, King of Kings, Awesome God, Healer and protector”.
These and many more names were what came out of the mouth of those who attended Friday’s Service tagged ” the Dangers of Envy and Jealousy” in God’s Arena of Liberty
They were thanking God for saving the lives of the General Overseer, Prophet Sunday Obi, the Wife and five other ministers in the Commission last Wednesday between Ugep/Ekori, Calabar – Ikom Express Road when a tyre pulled off from his vehicle.
He was heading home to attend the wedding of one of her daughter down Boki local government area of Cross River state.
What could have been the story, should a live was lost? Stories upon stories, but the God of Arena prevented it from happening even when the tyre hit a couple on their bike with only “fracture” Glory be to God”. Him alone deserve praises and honour for sparing their lives.
“Thank You Lord. Thank you the Righteous One. Thank you Our Creator. Thank you Redeemer. These words kept coming as the congregation gave Him “a dancing Thanksgiving as directed by the Prophet himself”.
He said “we have come to return glory and honour to God.”
The Prophet frowned at the attitude of some ministers who could not attend the Minister’s meeting and the Friday’s service because they knew he had traveled. They will be the same to go scandalising my name, if God did not intercede for us. They will be the ones to “say, yes I said it, he was using charms” see what happened the ministers and he is alive”. Envy and Jealousy in the church. Among ministers and workers in the church. This is a very big problem facing many ministries today.

“But, hear this, they have failed themselves not Prophet Sunday Obi. They have failed their God. You are not serving Prophet Obi, but rather God”.
As human, the service was scanty because they worshippers thought that the Servant of God would not be around and stayed away. This prompted him to release the blessing and favour of God early before saying one or two things concerning the theme.
He declared abundant blessing upon those who came and mostly on time and the entire Arena was filled with enough blessing, to the Glory of God.
Humanity is suffering today because of envy and Jealousy. Everywhere you go, in the community, Christianson or families, there are envy and Jealousy. Envy is sin and evil. This has caused many to loss their lives especially in offices.
He says “envious and jealous people, even in the Bible never ended well. Judeas betrayed Jesus. Daniel was thrown into the lions den because of envy and Jealousy. Cain and Abel story is very fresh in our mind. And those who engaged in these sin and evil were all cursed”.
1Sm 18:7 And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.
1Sm 18:8 And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?

He presented the Corporate prayers calling on God to pay back those envying him, Let them get their repercussions in Jesus Name Amen, Oh Lord God, every accusing finger against me and family with evil eyes, let the blood of Jesus paralyse them and Oh Lord God, let this service speak for me, my marriage, career, business and my children in Jesus name Amen.”
Oh Lord God, use this service to change my story as well as rewrite my destiny for good.
The Servant of God who never allowed the accident to overwhelm him, went on with ministration and healed, delivered and made prophetic declarations on so many in honour of His Master instructions.
Though, the beginning of the service was gloomy in the sight of man, but His presence was manifest. He was awesome, Big, glorious, Mighty and Ever loving to those who were spirituality gifted. Alleluia!
Earlier, the daughter of Zion, Bar. Pst. Jacinta Innocent, had graciously coordinated the Intercessory prayers point with a passion.
She had prayed and seek God’s intervention against envy and Jealousy in our lives. That as many that are not ready to come out of this evil practice God should turn them around for good.
Oh Lord God, grant us a heart that is devoid of envy and Jealousy, Oh Lord God, sanitise our hearts, grant us mercy to shun envy and Jealousy which are sins against you Lord, Lord open my heart to know your word. Teach me your word, Oh Lord God, help to discover my place in my destiny and Oh Lord God, whatever you have not planted in my life help me to uproot them in Jesus Mighty Name Amen “.

However, the “Word” was delivered by a tested, seasoned and passionate humble minister of God, Pastor Richard Eleng, tagged “The Danger of Envy and Jealousy”.
He started with reference to the Bible as in “2Cor 10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.’
He says envy and Jealousy develops when individual begins to compare themselves to others, thereby seeing themselves as inferior being. This is not the intention of God. He created us with the same image and likeness therefore we are equal before The Almighty Creator.
Envy and Jealousy is evil and sin before God. It is the desire to see your brethren to go down, you must be the one to succeed.
He classified envy in two categories, malicious and non-malicious. It brings resentment or bitterness, depression, and leads to gossips. See Provb.14:30/6:16-19.
There are several examples in the Bible concerning envy and Jealousy G.4:8/37;28/I Sam.18:8-11/ Dan.6:16 and Provb.4:23 among others.
He gave good examples of how we can overcome envy and Jealousy. John. 3:16/8:36/2Cor.1:20. Identify yourself with Christ, be prayerful, believe that you are uniquely made by God, know that God loves you without measure. Celebrate others, learn to give alms always, and give thanks to God in every situation in life.

Above principles can get us out of the tangling of envy and Jealousy in our lives if religiously kept and observed.
