The All Progressives’ Congress, (APC) Professional Women Council has successfully organized an Environment tidy up walk in preparation to receive Asiwaju/Shettima and other APC candidates in the state.
The Environment tidy up walk kicked off at Eleven-eleven, Calabar, with the theme “Tidy up Nigeria for Asiwaju/Shettima, Sen. Prince Bassey Otu and other APC Candidates converge women from different support groups for the exercise.
The state coordinator, Barr Maria Ukpayang, maintained that the Environment Walk is borne out of passion to support Asiwaju/Shettima, Sen Prince Bassey Otu and all other candidates, stressing that no one politicians has given them money or funded their activities.
“This is purely passion. Passion for our party APC and passion for all APC candidates. We are not funded by anybody but we know that when our candidates win, everyone will be happy.”
According to her, “we are going to sensitize everybody on cleanliness and we will send message to the government to give us place to put all our rubbish while they clear them promptly”..
She averred that APC chance at the poll is 100%, noting that all APC candidates are knowledgeable and practicable. She as well described Asiwaju as a man who believes in ‘Monkey work, Monkey chop”.
“Our chances at the poll is 100% because our candidates are so knowledgeable and they’re practicable. Take for instance, what Tinubu did for Lagos state cannot be measured to any other state, he is practical and he believes in “Monkey work, Monkey chop.”
