The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has said the year 2023 is dedicated to sustainability, under the theme, ‘Today for Tomorrow’.
It’s their ‘Year of Sustainability’ which will include initiatives, activities, and events that draw upon the UAE’s values of sustainability and the legacy of its Founding President, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

The UAE Ambassador to Nigeria His Excellency, Salem Saeed Al-Shamsi stated this when he hosted the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation along with other Ministers and key government officials to mark the anniversary event.
The ceremony was chaired by the Deputy Speaker Hon. Benjamin Kalu.
Speaking, the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation commended the UAE for an exceptional developmental stride, saying Nigeria and UAE can collaborate to expand the frontiers on investment and Humanitarian support.
She looks forward to a fruitful engagement at COP 28.
