The atmosphere was spiritual and very significant given the theme of the service.
As usual, the Minister’s and workers opening prayers had taken place as scheduled by 8.30 am. Thereafter, other prayer sessions took place before the General Overseer, Prophet Sunday Obi took over as it were.
It was more of a spiritual/Communion Service so to say and as such only those with spiritual eyes could appreciate its significance.
The giant of Africa, Prophet Sunday Obi, very strong spiritually, never failed to give gratitude to His Master Jesus Christ as he danced to the choir stand before the thirty minutes worship.
The worship session started well and ended in praise, Alleluia!
There were joy and happiness in the church as the congregation expressed their gratitude to God during the worship session.
The Power in the Blood is refers to the spiritual significance and transformative power of Jesus Christ’s shed blood on the cross.
It has the following spiritual benefits such as Salvation from sin and its consequences, Reconciliation with God, Eternal life, Freedom from guilt and shame and Power over sin and darkness.
The service was indeed more spiritual and transformative.
Behold, the Intercessory prayer points were raised by Pst. David Ibe as led by the Holy Spirit.
He took his text from Ezekiel 22:20 “Nevertheless I withdrew My hand and acted for My name’s sake, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the Gentiles, in whose sight I had brought them out”.
He prayed as follows, “Oh Lord cause me to stand in the gap for my family, relationships, church and the nation, Oh Lord God, use your strength to break chains and bondage, heal my emotional and physical pains, empower believers to stand firm.
Oh Lord God, strengthen every gap in my life and Lord let your strength bring restoration and redemption.
Psa 25:22 “Redeem Israel, O God, Out of all their troubles!
He raised the following prayer points that God should redeem as many that are struggling in captivity of the devil, redeem the global body of Christ to unite and stand together in faith, redeem, protect and shelter us from the storm of life in this remaining month of the year.
Ibe also referenced Acts 5:19 praying for divine intervention and deliverance from physical or spiritual imprisonment.
It was quite a rewarding Intercessory prayer session.
Earlier, God’s own general, Prophet Sunday Obi with humility, ushered the guest speaker Pst. Eld. Lord Tony to make his presentation.
Defining “Blood, he said it is a substance that contains life. Blood is a living spirit that God puts in man and animals, such that if you don’t have it in you, it means, you have no life”.
Recalled that in the olden days blood of animals were used as atonement for sin.
Genesis 4:10: “And He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood cries out to Me from the ground”, making reference to Cain who killed his brother. Blood was used in this context as a symbol of Passover. See Exd.12:13.
The Blood of Jesus Christ is more precious. It is the blood that a new covenant was made to reconcile, man with God and a perpetual cleansing of sins.
The power in this Blood, is a healing balm that heals all manner of ailments. Matt: 26:28/Lk 22:20/ Mk.14:24/Eph. 1:7/ Colo1:20/Heb.10:19,13:21 respectively.
Today, it is evident that anywhere you mention the Blood of Jesus Christ, every negative force flees and every ailment is made whole because of the power that be – Alleluia!.
For further study and understanding read, Leviticus 17:11 – “The life of the flesh is in the blood, Hebrews 9:22 – “Without shedding of blood, there is no remission and 1 John 1:7 – “The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all sin.”
It involves,Redemption: Jesus’ blood paid the price for humanity’s sin, Forgiveness: His blood cleanses from sin and guilt, Justification: Through faith in His blood, believers are declared righteous, Sanctification: The blood separates believers from sin’s power and Healing: Physical and emotional healing through faith in His blood.
We must have Faith: Trust in the power of Jesus’ blood, Confession: Acknowledge sin and receive forgiveness, Worship: Honor the sacrifice and victory of Jesus, Prayer: Apply the blood’s power in prayer and Testimony: Share the Gospel, emphasizing the blood’s significance.
The ministration was powerful and spiritual as those who encountered Jesus got their healing, deliverance, blessings and prophetic messages during the Communion Service.
The healings ranged from madness, altar speaking, and other diseases just to mention but a few.
However, on Saturday Nov 9th, 2024, the marriage Seminar took place. It was declared open by the General Overseer Prophet Sunday Obi, describing it as a wonderful and resourceful encounter.
The first paper entitled “life after wedding” was presented by the General Overseer’s wife, Rev Mrs. Kate Obi.
She described marriage as a union of two imperfect individuals who decided to commit to each other and pursue same goal see Gen 2:24.
Rev. Obi urged women to learn to dress well, honour your husband, husband love your wife, be a mother, sacrifice, husband be a provider, be prayerful and be faithful.
Read the following Bible verses: Eph 5:22/5:25/Gen 2:24/1Pt3:7.
Also, Apostle Ubong Thompson, presented a paper titled “marriage essentials and advice for singles”.
He describes it as “building intimacy and connection in marriage involves nurturing emotional, physical and spiritual closeness”.
He mentioned the following as keys to marriage. These include emotional intimacy, physical intimacy, spiritual intimacy, communication strategies.
Apostle Ubong listed the following Bible verses, Gen. 2:24/1Corth 13:4-7/Provb. 5:15-19/Eph. 5:22-33.
The third paper was presented by Pst. Mrs. Bridget Orim with the theme “Survive the odds in marriage”.
Described marriage as “a beautiful institution created by God. Marriage is to be enjoyed and not to be endured. Matt. 19:4-6.
She reeled out common odds against marriage to include, high divorce rates, financial stress, infidelity and competition.
Keys to surviving the odds, communication, commitment, conflict resolution, intimacy and support system.
She prayed to God to grant us wisdom, patience and love to overcome the odds against our marriage, strengthen our commitment, communication and intimacy.
The fourth paper was presented by Pst. Udah Okey, entitled “the risk of love”. The risk of love include loss, independence, commitment and confrontation.
He describes love as more than a feeling. It is a commitment to someone or someone.

It was a rich and rewarding experience. Both married couples and unmarried attended the seminar.
