Hard times had existed ever before now. It comes in different dimensions. It could be lack of money, it could be lack of job, depression, sickness, or no marriage.
Seriously, it appears that most believers, Christians, Pastors and ministers of God have fallen victims of hard times due to lack of faith and resilience in the things of God.
Instead of looking onto God, they preferred to hang their hope on the things of the world, resulting to failure and scattered hope. This is ungodly and a sin.
A child of God, must be strong in faith knowing that there is nothing God cannot do. He changes worst situation for good. He owns the entire world and everything there in.
Hear me, He makes no mistakes in His ways at all. He is Righteous and Holy. He is Infallible. And so, what is hard times before the Creator?
So many churches are empty as worshippers have decided to stay at home giving excuses that things are hard. What is hard? Is there anything hard before our God? No!
However, in God’s Arena Of Liberty GOAL aka “Enough is Enough” the few that honoured their God received abundant blessings during Friday’s Service tagged “Succeeding in hard times”.
“Succeeding in Hard Times” means overcoming challenges, thriving, and achieving goals despite adverse circumstances, difficulties, or setbacks in life.
The solution to hard times is seeking the face of the Lord and taking responsibility by yourself always. You must be intentional, focus and bold to think outside the box to succeed in this perilous times.
The race is individualistic. It is judged per a man. Your brother, mother, Father nor uncle can not help you except you run to Christ Jesus – Alleluia!
The service was at the beginning scanty, but as usual the late comers suntered in as usual.
The Prophet in the house, Prophet Sunday Obi, ever happy had danced towards the choir to acknowledge the presence of His Master Jesus Christ.
This has become a tradition and he has never toyed observing it every Friday service.
Thereafter, he ushered the ARENA Echo International choir to coordinate the thirty minutes worship. It was adorable in the sight of God.
Initially, Pst. David Ibe, had presented the Intercessory prayer points as directed by the Holy Spirit.
He offered prayers for strength and courage in the remaining part of the year 2024.(1.Sam.17:45-47), prayed for protection from enemies (Psa 59:1-4, 91:2), prayed for charity and direction (Psa 119:105/Provb 8:5-6).
He prayed for protection and safety (Psa 91:2/Isa:41:10), prayed for Divine intervention (2Chro.14:11), and declared that we shall rise above my challenges and will succeed in hard times because I am child of God, Amen.
The testimonies were heart touching indeed as the were reeled out to the congregation. The General Overseer had testified to the glory of God over his marriage.
The worship session was indeed glorious and awesome.
Prophet Sunday Obi, is one Minister of God that is not selfish when it comes to mounting his pulpit. He gives anyone who wants to serve God the opportunity to preach the Word. Yes, you can not take this from him. He is too generous. God bless you, our Daddy.
Alleluia! The session for the Word came and the responsibility fell on Apostle Ubong Thompson and he spiritually delivered accordingly.
He took his text from which says Job 22:29 “When they cast you down, and you say, ‘Exaltation will come! ’ Then He will save the humble person”.
Describing hard times “as difficult situations, season of dryness or wilderness period “.
It could be out of marriage, no funding, persecution, financial crisis, business stagnation, poverty, depression and lack of money for rent etc.
He prayed God to deliver us from the all the above crisis in Jesus Name Amen. See Exd 23:25/1 Sam. 1:19/3Jhn. 1:2 and Job 36:11. It’s God’s will for us to prosper and succeed.
“Psalms 1:3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper’.
He said, “we have limited control over hard times, temptation and wilderness. We we can develop an attitude to succeed or prevail”.
Thompson prophesied that we shall overcome hard times (-2 corth 2:14). Be contented -1Tim 6:6).
How to succeed in hard times Resilience: Bouncing back from adversity,Perseverance: Persevering through trials and challenges, Adaptability: Adjusting to changing circumstances, Faith: Trusting in a higher power or purpose, Resourcefulness: Finding creative solutions,Determination: Staying focused on goals and Support: Surrounding yourself with positive influences.
Relevant Bible verses: Romans 5:3-5 – “Tribulations bring perseverance.” James 1:2-4 – “Trials refine faith.”Psalm 23:4 – “God is with us in darkest valleys.”2 Corinthians 4:8-9 – “We are hard-pressed but not crushed.”
Strategies to Succeed include, Reframe challenges as opportunities, Focus on what you can control, Break tasks into manageable steps, Seek guidance from mentors or experts, Practice self-care and stress management, Cultivate gratitude and positivity and Learn from failures and setbacks.
Learn to touch the life of the Prophet by sowing painful seed at all times.
Finally, he said that “lamentation doesn’t change hard times. But always run to God and ask for directions. We have no limitation over hard times. Take up your responsibility and stop blaming God. Focus on Jesus – Hebrews 12:2 “looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. The Discipline of God”.
Matthew 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you”.

Prophet Sunday Obi prophesied against “organ harvesting” during this year’s carnival and warned people to be at alert. Organ harvesters are already in town. Be careful and don’t stay late night.
All his prophecies concerning Xmas carnival came to pass.
He appealed to worshippers not to miss any of the remaining weeks before Christmas as there are so many gifts and blessings awaiting us.
The demons are already aware that he will be traveling out of Calabar and might use the opportunity to strike their victims.
Prophet prayed against any form of accident during the Xmas period, prayed against the gathering of the evil ones, they shall drink their own blood in Jesus Name Amen, against every handwriting on the wall, prayed against every demonic blood bank, let them be contaminated in Jesus Name Amen, every accusation be reversed, have mercy upon your children this period, Amen.
He said Calabar was not designed for evil and that those that have come to perpetrate evil must be disgraced in Jesus Name Amen.
The five corporate prayer points were raised by the Provost Marshal of the FRSC, Calabar.
She raised prayer points according to the following Bible verses, Job 22:9, Psa. 1:2 saying that we shall not beg for food and that I and my family shall serve the living God all the days of our lives, that we shall be lifted up in all ramifications, Jesus is Lord, we are contented. Hard times shall not overwhelm us, rather we shall overcome hard times.
The ministration was powerful and special as the Prophet handled all the cases that came up with the wisdom of God.
