The spoken word gave them Divine Connection during Anointing Service

The power of God came down in glory as the Prophet in the house began to hear and obey the instructions from God. And he stopped praying and honoured Him according to His word and commandments.

This time around, he could not wait for late comers to sunter in and out of the service every Friday.

Prophet Sunday Obi had warned that he was ready to follow the directives and instructions of His Master Jesus Christ especially during the remaining days in December 2024.Friday’s Service was not an exception. He listened and followed His Commands accordingly.

It was a surprise to many as the Prophet released the first batch of blessings to those that came early, leaving perpetual late comers behind.

The atmosphere was spirit filled and conducive to believers to key in and to get their blessings, as they heard the Word.

The theme of the service is “there is power in the spoken word” and through as they heard the word, they got Divine connection that turned their lives around.

Spoken word has profound impact and authority on every creature on the earth.

Genesis 1:3 says- “God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.”Psalm 33:6-9 – “By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, while Proverbs 18:21 – “The tongue has the power of life and death.”

The power of the word played out during the service as what was needed was to speak positively and in the spirit via the Word of God and there was healing, deliverance, blessings and prophetic messages.

Prophet Sunday Obi merely spoke the Word and they received their healing. It was not funny, but they got themselves delivered as they spoke the word of God.

The word in the first instance, is the first tool for any believer. Without the Word, you have no power to challenge or rebuke the devil. Take it or leave it. It is a must. And, we saw it playing out during the service.

“Saying what God says and believing Him too, brought them to Divine connection”.

Spoken words can declare truth, blessings or curses, it can agree with God’s word, aligning with His Will. Also, it has the ability to create, shape, and transform reality and bring manifestation of spiritual realities.

The spirit of God was everywhere, the Angels were at work waiting to deliver every prayer request to God for divine intervention.

Apostle Thompson Ubong was on hand to present the Intercessory prayer points as it were. In his presentation, he referenced G.1:3/He.11:3/Isa.9:8/Jer.1:9-10/Roms.10:8-10/2nd Cor.4:6,8:7/Mk.11:23 to butress his prayers.

He prayed that our hearts should be in agreement with the word of God, that the light should shine upon our lives to destroy darkness, sickness, depression and marriage, that every mountain of shame be removed, every poverty and disgrace be destroyed in Jesus Name Amen.

Ubong prayed to stand by God’s order to destroy every ancestral landmark working against us, I shall not die, I shall build up my marriage, I am moving from glory to glory, I overcame sickness and I receive my prosperity.

The Intercessory prayer points ignited the spirit of worshippers as they were ready and at alert to hear the word after the thirty minutes worship rendered by the choir.

The Lord received the worship and it was evident as the Prophet began to sort out victims before the main ministration.

His Presence overwhelmed the entire premises. The testimonies were touching and rewarding.

The ARENA Echo International choir had rendered her Special No. “Amazing God”. It was glorious in His sight.

And the hour we have been waiting came. It was the time to hear the Word. The guest speaker was no other person than Pst. Mrs. Rita kelvin Okang. She was so filled with the Holy Spirit as she delivered the Word with the theme “The power of the spoken word”.

Sighting G.1:3, she says the whole world was formed by the spoken word of God. It was formed out of nothing. Whatever God speaks comes to pass over and over again.

Prophet Isaiah was a typical example where the spoken word of God came to pass. See Isa 55:10:11 “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it”.

She continues saying, “when you make a confession, it becomes a decree, say what you want to happen and believe strongly in your confession, it will be activated in the spiritual realm to fulfill it was sent forth, declare the promises of God continually, what you want shall come to pass.

According to her, “the Word of God comes to renew our thoughts and strengths our faith so decide to speak words that builds you up spiritually and physically.

She admonished worshippers to know the type of words they speak. If you speak negative, it will reflect in our lives, if you speak positively, it will surely reflect too.

Pst. Rita says “believe in the word and it shall come to pass. Use your mouth to chart the course of your life. I don’t care of any altar. Jesus is the way. Don’t stop speaking positively “.

“Show me your friend and I tell you who you are. Avoid friends that lack the Word. Who is your friend. Words are powerful. Speak the word of God and receive your blessings, healing, deliverance and protection”.

She ended her teaching by inviting people for the Altar call to receive Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Spoken words can bless, encourage, and uplift others. It can bring physical, emotional, and spiritual healing, provide protection from harm, evil, or negativity and transform lives, circumstances, and communities.

It also has negative impacts such as curse, harm, or bring negativity, destroy relationships, reputations, or lives and instill fear, anxiety, or doubt.
The highlights of the anointing service was the Special prayers offered by Prophet Sunday Obi against every plans of the devil during the remaining days of December and January 2025.

He prayed for safety, against blood suckers, for angels to fight our battles, against monitoring spirits, that we shall flourish from glory to glory, prayed for celebration from December to January.

The Prophet had earlier acknowledged the the guest speaker for a well packaged message.

As usual, God used him for many signs and wonders, liberating so many people in captivity during the service.

There were testimonies, healing and abundant blessings during the service. The hand of God was everywhere doing His Will Only. It was great.

The 2025 Annual Prayer Request was distributed to worshippers to fill and return on Friday been the last Service for the year.

Also the theme for 2025 was released as “God’s Divine Rescue”. The house was filled with excitement.

God’s blessings came from different angles. It poured out in abundance. The Prophet kept on releasing them according to God’s instructions as the come.
