The Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Non-indigenes Affairs, Mazi Okey Maduekwe, has joined several other Nigerians to wish Sir Obi Sam Oyeka a fruitful 70th birthday.
Speaking at the occasion, he described him as a big access to the State and Nation in general.
“Oyeka is a man of many parts and a role model, that have excelled in the provision of quality medicare to the society”.
He further described Sir Oyeka as “a man that have promoted peace and unity among the non indigenous communities residing across the state.
According to him, he had trained, mentored and empowered so many youths in our society at large.
Over the years, he had lead so many church and social organizations within the state.

Therefore, onbehalf of non indigenes in the state, I wish him a renewed strength and more years of continued service to humanity.
Earlier, friends and family members attended a thanksgiving service officiated by Ven. Stanley Ukachukwu with His grace, Rt Rev. Prof. Nneoyi One Egbe, Bishop of Calabar Anglican Diocese at St. Jude Anglican Church, Calabar.
Oyeka used the opportunity to thank God for the life he gave to him and prayed for more grace upon his life and that of his family.

Professional Profile and Background: Education: He earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) from Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) between 1976 and 1980.

Career: Before leading BEZ Pharmaceuticals, he served as a Senior Manager at the Nigerian Ports Authority for nearly 15 years (1982–1997).
Professional Standing: He holds the title of MPCN (Member of the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria) and is a Knight of Saint Christopher (KSC).
Legacy: Under his leadership, BEZ Pharmacy has grown into a trusted institution recognized for professionalism and community service.

He is also referred to as Hon. Pharmacy Obi Oyeka and is associated with the Agunaechemba Security group in Nteje, Anambra State, where he has been recognized for his support of community safety initiatives.
