Cross River State Independent Electoral Commission (CROSIEC) has released the timetable as approved by the state Executive committee of the All Progressives’Congress (APC) for campaign for the conduct of local government council election across the 18 councils.
This is in strict compliance with the amended CROSIEC electoral law.
This was contained in a statement issued by Hon. Emmanuel Edem Inyang JP, State Publicity Secretary, APC CRS Chapter.
The campaign Itinerary states as follows: Sunday, 27th October 2024, Flag off of State Wide Campaign to be attended by All Chairmanship Candidates, Vice Chairmanship Candidates, Councillorship Candidates and Party Stalwarts at Ikom Township Stadium. Time:. 12 Noon. Prompt
Monday, 28th to Thursday, 31st October, 2024, Ward to Ward Campaign Tour by respective local government area campaign councils, Thursday, 31st October, 2024 is the Grand Finale of Campaign to be attended by All come candidates and stalwarts from the Southern Senatorial district only, Venue: Calabar Municipality Field, Time ;. 12 Noon.
While Friday, 1st November 2024 is critical stakeholders meeting in each local government area and commencement of Door to Door Campaign in the 3281 Polling units till 12 midnight.
