The State Commissioner for Mineral Resources, Hon Effiom Ekaha, has described youths as been central in the utilization of human resources in accomplishing the mandate of the Ministry.
He assured members of the Calabar Municipality Students’ Association, Worldwide during a courtesy call on him that the ministry would always harness the talents and strength of youths to effectively drive the ministry’s aspirations to fruition.
The Commissioner expressed happiness for the visit and stated that with the support of youths occasioned by the assurance to partner, his Ministry can now boast of the capacity to deliver.
According to him, the ministry is the live wire for revenue generation through the exploration of natural resources which the state is inundated with but mostly laying fallow over the years.

He however, asserted that education in various fields expecially in the sciences is a major factor in maximally exploited the abundant resources.
He charged the students not only to be serious with their studies but to also encourage other youths not so privileged to be in school to begin to consider enrollment.
This the commissioner said will place them in more vantagged position for employment whenever opportunity arises.
Earlier, the President of the Association, Mr Nkebere said that the visit was to felicitate with the Commissioner on his meritorious appointment as commissioner.
He stated that considering the antecedence of Hon Ekaha’s successes in public life he is a peg with it’s appropriate dimensional hole.
While urging the commissioner to carry the youths of the state particularly those of the municipality along ,he prayed God to grant him the wisdom to succeed in all ramifications.
