A highly entertaining match between Team Exco and Team Assembly ended 0-2 in favour of the Legislature took place at the UJ Esuene Sports Stadium.
Speaking to spots journalists, Deputy governor, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey, said the Festival Novelty Football Tournament was an indication that all arms of government and the party were working together for the good of Cross River State.
Odey had earlier stated that another importance of the physical exercise was to emphasize the need for both mental and physical health.
The match watched by many families and well wishers was the climax of the competition between members of the Executive Council, the All Progressives’ Congress, Civil Servants in the State and Members of the Cross River State House of Assembly.
