SA On Non-indegenes Sue For Cooperation From Hausa/Fulani Community

Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River state on Non-indegenes, Chief Okey Maduekwe has called on Hausa/Fulani Community to be intentional in supporting the Prince Sen. Bassey Otu’s administration.

“This is so because his administration is poised to bringing meaningful development to all and sundry irrespective of where you come from, hence his appointment of Special Adviser on Non-indegenes”.

Chief Maduekwe said that His Excellency Sen Bassey Otu is a detribalised Nigerian who loves peace and unity.

He made the call while on a familiarization visit to the Leadership of House/Fulani Community in Calabar.
 He charged the leadership of the Hausa/Fulani Community to brace up in the challenge ahead by ensuring total support for Otu’s “People’s First” mantra to return Cross River to her lost glory.

“We must shun all forms of illegality, crime, violence and unnecessary distractions and come out en-masse to massively support this administration “.

He said “Cross Riverians are lucky to have Prince Sen Bassey Otu as Governor. He is an achiever. Let’s rally around his administration”.

Earlier, the head of Hausa/Fulani, Alhaji Garba Lawal, congratulated and welcomed the Special Adviser and promised good working relationship.

Garba called for cooperation and collaboration with the ‘People’s First’ Government for mutual benefits.

He lauded the Prince Sen Bassey Otu led administration and prayed to Allah to guide, direct and protect him to what is good for his people.

“Cross River state government has always carried the Hausa/Fulani Community along in past administrations and sued for more.”
